Villa Zoo is a looming, expansive home burrowed in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Nestled in a charming mountain town outside of Denver, Villa Zoo is caressed by a grove of towering Aspen trees. It’s sun-glittering leaves dance to even the slightest of mountain breezes.
The graciousness of the home belies the chaos inside the walls. Villa Zoo is home to Sam, her sister Annie, their mother Mima and two very active children, Wigs, 8 and Bean 12.
It is also home to 5 very extraordinary cats known as the MYSTC Lions and a spoiled, loud, charming, somewhat lazy but very devoted white chihuahua known as Valentino.
During family time, the MYSTCs are happy cats, doing what cats do…meowing (except for Tiny…she squeaks having not been born with a meow box), purring (except for Scooter…he’s a gato rudo or momentarily loving but don’t cross him kind of cat), snuggling (except for Chai, she’s a diva who wears a diaper because she drops pebbles), loving everybody (except for Max who thinks he’s a scholar and above loving everybody), and laying at your feet (except for Yoshi who’ll sit at your feet, especially if you have a bowl of ice cream and plenty of room to show her outstretched legs and belly).
When family’s away, the MYSTCs become Lions thanks to some Tuna Power Cakes. The sleuths team up with Valentino to solve Curious Mysterious Happenings.
“The Curious Mysterious Happenings of Blind Mice and Lost Pikas” takes the MYSTC Lions to the mountain top and deep inside the woods. It involves a lot of heroism, some great roars, some tears and lots of planning.
